Unknown centennial copper token with blue on the fields against the devices . . . . .

Okay, probably not "unknown" but unknown to me. Lots to ask about this one.
Can anyone attribute this one? It's too new to have been included in Rulau, and too smallish to have been a So-Called Dollar. Looks like a local centennial medal / token, but COULD be just an interesting transportation token.
I asked the Token Yoda @coinsarefun , but she didn't know much about it. I guess I'll have to summon @tokenpro ?
**Anyway, on to the question: ** I did a bit of research before asking, and what I've read was inconclusive.
See that darker blue up against the legends and devices on this copper piece? Is that "normal" or does it look like something more "sinister" . . . . . .
Anyway, I liked the design, so I bought it. Do I have an acceptable token, or is this a red herring . . . . ?
Thanks in advance.
Oh yeah, the photos . . . . .

I think it's been messed with but I also like the design.
It is just what it appears to be - a city centennial medal with the devices representing the city in 1802 (with Natives & wildlife around at the founding) and 1902 (with a modern for the day electric trolley). The medal was struck in both bronze & copper nickel - the bronzes were made of a good mix that appears different from many similar period bronze medals. It was stored in a good place as the toning looks natural to me.
This is excellent news if it is original toning. @ZoidMeister . I will say you have scored several really good pickups lately.
Between this and D,C';s engraved Morgan, your doing very well indeed

@ZoidMeister... Nice old token. My wife (who is not a collector) spent a lot of her childhood years in Bloomsburg. I showed it to her and now she wants it. So, if you decide to part with it, PM me a price, and I will buy it for her. Nice pictures. Cheers, RickO

Thanks much, your input and thoughts on this are appreciated and valued.
I am still looking to see if anyone has cataloged this piece anywhere. I would LOVE to give it an attribution number for it, if you will. I picked up the following book this morning from @SteveHayden in an attempt to get more information on this subject.
I suspect this book is limited to U.S. Centennial pieces and not ALL centennial medals or tokens commemorating people, places, or things within the U.S. It would have to be much larger than 76 pages to accomplish that . . . . .

Yep, this book is U.S. centennial only.

Been there, done that. No information available on its creation.
I plan on contributing more information and the photos as soon as I get some. I'm still holding out hope.

_I asked the Token Yoda @coinsarefun _
I wonder if it actually a transit token?
No, it is not a transportation token - it neither mentions a transportation company nor indicates that it is good for passage.
tokencatalog is not a catalog but simply a useful crowdsourced amalgamation of input.
It is not listed in Aqua's Pennsylvania catalog as it is a commemorative medal and not a merchant token.
It is not listed in Tureen's unpublished catalog of Municipal Good For tokens as it does not carry a denomination.
I know of no listing of Pennsylvania 20th century commemorative medals.
I do not believe you will find it listed in any available catalog; not every piece has (or needs?) a catalog number.
.
I was hoping to find it listed somewhere as attribution is usually accompanied by additional information on its issuer, rarity, and valuation.
Has you ever seen one of these before? My Google-fu has not been very productive.
Lacking alternate attribution, I hereby attribute this piece as Zoid #1 (Z-PA-1).

i understand the sheer volume of types of tokens out there is breathtaking BUT to say there is no need or better yet, desire, to catalog them all seems a bit surprising to me.
if you would be so kind to give, in your estimation, say, the top 2 reasons why not? value, time, desire...
i legitimately ask for curiosity being a decent vammer myself, where the morgans and peace have over 6k cataloged varieties/stages. knowing the usa colonial listings is huge as well and seeing the world coin catalogs obviously being nothing short than a psychotically large amount of issues. LOL - time, effort, capability, desire, value etc doesn't seem to be in short supply but i could be mistaken in this instance.
