1982 D Penny error... or errors??

So I recently learned about looking through your change you may find error coins that could be worth money. Never thought I would find one but then I stumbled apon this and I don't even know what to call the error so any information about this coin would be awesome!!

@Cryptnitro.... Welcome aboard. Your cent is a severely damaged coin... It is called Post Mint Damage (PMD) since it occurred after leaving the Mint. It is not an error coin. Good luck in your searches. And those are excellent pictures. Cheers, RickO

As @ricko said, your coin is damaged. You can see the flattened rims on both sides. Something was pressed into the coin after it left the mint

There is a lot of misinformation on youtube with regard to getting rich with pocket change.

This coin is damaged but don't let that discourage you. I find collectible errors in my roll searches quite frequently. Do yourself a favor and learn all you can about the minting process. This will help you differentiate between damaged coins and genuine mint errors. There are also many forum embers here willing to offer advice. BTW, good pictures!

"ALOT" - Indeed, the problem is that it's directed towards uninformed so called collectors.
