Thoughts on this 1894-O Morgan - XF?
I'm working on my Morgan grading and skills. This looks to be in XF range, would you agree? Or could it reach AU50? There is still some mint luster.
The obverse I don't think I could take any worse pictures but wanted to get some different angles to you. What is your overall assessment? Thank you for any input!
Value? I'm thinking $50 to $75. Is that what you'd think as well?

EF-45 is my opinion.
45 sounds reasonable, I could see it maybe reaching 50.
Close call for ef45, if was just based on reverse yes but obverse is questionable based on those pics. In my opinion no way gets to AU

Maybe EF details. Kinda looks cleaned based on those first pics.
in mid-2021, i'd see that as an EASY $80. i'd probably bump it up 30-60% and see what happens, especially if you can get quality images. i've seen some, um, strong prices, for silver dollars lately.
Agree. Should get close to $100 in the current market as long as it isn't cleaned.

Way too many surface issues to straight grade.
XF45, slight chance at AU50.
I didn't notice it before, but is that graffiti next to the bust

The coin looks as if it should receive a details grade with a decent shot at AU.

Think so..... looks like a X carved behind liberty's hair and a couple of lines or scratches in front of her nose. I don't think it will straight grade.
it's crackers to slip a rozzer the dropsy in snide

Looks like details grade, around 50.... Marks on cheek, neck, fields, gouge on eagle breast. Cheers, RickO
