Can someone catch me up real quick?
My question is this... and maybe it's been answered in there somewhere.
Why did the mint release these presales when they aren't shipping until October? 6 friggin months we have to wait?
What's the deal? That's not their normal practice, right?

From what I understand, no one know why the mint does what it does. I don't even think they know what they are doing with these, as evident by the several emails from them with change of plans, etc.
Is “normal practice “ a self canceling phrase in use with the mint🤓
🎶 shout shout, let it all out 🎶
I would not even try to go through that thread.....Cheers, RickO
The mint moves in mysterious ways.....
You are more up to date on it than I am.

Is there a date for the remaining coins to go on sale?

Here's a synopsis:
Sour grapes, complaining, conspiracy theories, a couple of posters who think everyone should stand and salute while they give their opinion and at least one dude apparently there just to pad his post count... You are now caught up.

I usually bail on threads by the time they exceed 100 replies, unless I'm a participant in a conversation. Salience and relevance of posts decays exponentially as they become more distant from the start of the thread.

I hope you didn't have to read the thread to draw that conclusion.

You can draw that conclusion about every hot new Mint issue thread. No reading necessary!

I am 355 behind on the “humor” thread. Am I missing loads of laughs?
Don't feel bad - I haven't even opened that thread because I don't give a @#$% about modern Mint stuff.

Yeah ... it's a funny thread ... once you get past the Rorschach images one poster seems to adore.

I'm 590 behind on the Fast and Furious movies....
I'm 7K posts behind on the dcarr thread and thousands behind on other threads. I just don't open threads that don't interest me anymore like I used to 5-10 years ago. I'm not sure if I have opened the 2021 dollar threads. I just kinda keep blinders on for the things that most interest me. It makes browsing the forum much much faster.
