Yea it's a little rough. Kind of hit and miss for me too. I'm gonna soak it in acetone for a day and see if it helps. Probably not but worth a try.

Did it count as a 2 feather if one corroded away?

Bury that in the yard for a few years and you'll have a one feather.

Hard to tell with the corrosion. At any rate it's a very common 2F date and wouldn't be worth anything in that condition.

Hard to say with what appears to be crud in the critical area....Soak it and show us another picture of the area magnified. Cheers, RickO

Well it looks like the acetone isn't going to help it. Think I'll just throw it back into the dansco. Thanks y'all for trying.

Right you are. The 1923 2F is probably the toughest of all the two feather varieties.
