1805 Large Cent

Just picked this up for $29, good looking coin for the price. :)

There's a lot of detail on that coin. It probably disappeared in the dirt around 1810 only to be found 200 years later!

    Environmentally Corroded 1805 - 941,000 minted - 29$, I guess not bad ?

It's o.k. What's $29? I have many early date large cents like yours. Usually pay under $10 or so. Been buying them as culls since I was very young. I just like to stack and handle them. Something to put on the desk top. Don't have to worry about damaging them because they're already wrecked.

Good detail; rims in good shape. A good buy, I reckon.

    Smitten with DBLCs.
