Greater Cincinnati Numismatic Exposition

The Cincinnati Numismatic Association purchased the coin show from Paul Padgett and is hosting it for the first time this July 28-31. It will be held at the same venue, the Sharonville Convention Center north of Cincinnati exit 15 off I75 1 mile south of the I275 interchange.
We still have some tables available if anyone is interested in setting up. Please PM me if you have interest.
Everyone is invited to attend and experience some Queen City hospitality. We also have educational presentations scheduled on Saturday. Hope to see some of you there. If you attend please stop by and say hello!

Q: When does a collector become a numismatist?
A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.
A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.

How many dealers are you expecting ?
I love Cincinnati. I took a group of college students to a business conference at the Duke Energy Center and stayed at the Westin across from Fountain Park. Absolutely beautiful! The ANA should do a show there.
is that the one on the first floor or the basement?
I went to that show several times a couple of decades ago. I just got too busy to attend lately.
Great to see shows going on.... Please be sure and post show reports - some of us live where there are no shows.
Cheers, RickO
We have sold almost 50 tables and would like to get a few more.
May I interest you in one?

Sorry, but no. I'm not a dealer. Just a collector. Just wondering if it was worth it to make the drive. Eastern part of the state. About 200 miles one way.
I used to go to that show when it was hosted down in Covington. That was a great show, well worth the drive down from Findlay. Then we'd hit the Erlanger brew hall across the parking lot afterwards. Some of the prized coins in my collection were acquired there.
The 16S was purchased as a raw AU from Merrill Stuut, and later slabbed AU58.
The 21D was from Bruce (can't recall the last name), a Cinci dealer. He had FIVE 21D walkers in XF-AU in his case, from which to choose. You don't see five like that on the whole bourse at FUN these days. The large cent was from Jonathan Kern, when the show was held in conjunction with the EAC one year.
Nice coins.
They did do one there, back in the 80's I believe.
I always had good luck at that show when it was in Kentucky. I haven't been there in over 20 years.
