Hey guys,
I shared the Heritage Auction photos of this coin when I bought it but it just arrived today and I wanted to share my own pics.
I love the owl on the reverse ^_^

Looks good
That's beautiful, thanks for sharing
That's nice example.
So far I have stuck to the Imperial Roman coinage. I did bid on a very nice example of an Athenian Owl, but another bidder took the price to the moon. I quite often come in second in auctions.
I heard a couple years ago that another hoard of these coins had surfaced which had lower the prices for while.
Nice coin with high MS grade. Thanks for sharing.
I love Romans too!
I bought this Denarius of Hadrian and I’m waiting on it to arrive ^_^.
Thanks guys! I just wish it had more of the crest.
The Athenian Tetradrachms with the “full crest” designation can cause the price to rise 50% or more over a similar coin without it.
These are great. Here is mine.

They sure do, but when one has to ponder, I'd rather go with a crestless/full nose example than the opposite
Agree. Those with "full crest" do bring higher premium. However, they look better IMO. For me, I can comfortably move onto other ancient coin types once I picked up a "full crest". No need to look back for more Attica Owl.
Here is my "full crest".

You're on a roll! Excellent owl!

It’s my oldest coin by 500 years 😂
