It sure seems that they plagiarized Frederick Remington with that 'Bucking Bronco', and then 'imagined' some far fetched symbolism regarding the Revolution? And seemingly running out of room at the edge of the coin with that now out of favor cursive? Dunno.

Mine arrived today and I immediately threw it in the trash.
The design isn’t bad, but who came up with the story that it is “evoking the throwing off of the yoke of British rule”?

On the 2020 Preamble Platinum coin, "Happiness" just doesn't fit in the space provided, with the whole design uninspired.

Cursive is still very much in favor with me.
Why a reference to the revolution on a 2021 dated coin? They can't hold these ideas for 2026 for the 250th anniversary? Who is running these design committees? "We need to have symbolism in these coins". No. Just put a decent rendition of Liberty on one side and an eagle that doesn't look like sh*t on the other.

Certainly my complaint for quite some time. The touch of a true artist has been lost for some time.
One positive thing I can say for it... at least the design is not obsessed with political correctness like we've seen for too many years.
