I stumbled upon this decent lady and noticed she sported a small beard so I decided to take her home and call her Cherry.

    Yes, this is not generally my series, but I was still familiar enough to recognize it. Purists would say that it is not quite the full "b" die state, but it is close and better than some other "a" die state examples, fun to find in the wild in any case. Probably my second best cherry this year.

    I just wish it worked out differently.
    Hopefully people will learn to let time pass before they post a cherry pick.
    The PNG certainly was in the dealer pocket. Even with a receipt and tracking. They said no code of ethics was broken.

    Nice pickup and looks nicely orginal. Should be worth 5 to 7k on a good day for the early die 111a die state, just before she becomes a bearded Goddess. Great find, I really love the fame of this variety. Likely the most famous die crack in early American silver.
