    I hope they are Unc derserving an unc label rather than Genuine Details.

    As an owner I would not want the word Genuine on the label

    I tried to Cert verify the numbers but they show up invalid for some reason.

    Genuine is better than "Not Genuine" :)

    It could be. They may not have been entered correctly, either. It would be a shame to do this with just genuine and not grades.

    I would rather that PCGS provides a grade regardless of the detail grade. Like MS66 but cleaned/QC/ etc. Some of us may not have a problem collecting details graded coins.......that are appropriately designated with a grade and a details acknowledgement.

    Is there an option when sending in coins to just verify authenticity? Might this be the case?

    If a coin has been cleaned, how could you know the non-cleaned grade to include with the “Cleaned” notation? The luster, color and eye-appeal might have all been compromised and negatively impacted.

    The no-grade code is 80, which isn't listed as one of the problem coin codes. I assume it is just means the coin was only authenticated, and not graded, to make a promotional item with the coins shown in the wrong order.

    I wouldn’t take that to mean a fake number. Coins sent in for regrades will lose their old numbers.

    The URL for the image indicates it's from our host, as does the style of the image, but I didn't find a page that it's embedded in for context. For the style of image, I've only seen our host do slab images like that.

    I am pretty sure I remember that one in the adds when they came out with the double holders. I bet it is only an example

    Was the 'Genuine' designation given for cleaning? Or was there an issue on the obverses? Likely cleaning... Cheers, RickO
