As mentioned this is a coin struck by a grease-filled die. A minor error worth a dollar or two to the right person. Looks to have a bit of environmental damage, but still a neat coin to find!
Another vote for grease filled die. Interesting and worth saving but it has very little value in the numismatic marketplace.
