    The Tiffany & Co. mark is actually hand engraved!
    I weighed them... 762 grams!

    These are going into the collection. They’re actually really cool to look at.

    The hallmarks are for London, 1959-60. Not sure who the actual maker is, but obviously Tiffany’s retailed them. I’ll bet they were a pretty Penny when originally purchased. They’re entirely gilt (gold plated)

    Thanks everybody for the kind words. And I encourage all of you to look for this stuff. You never know, you just might find something!

    The place I found these, a thrift store in Asheville, never seems to have anything. I’ve been checking it off and on for several years. This is my first ever purchase there.

    Did a little searching for you. The picture below does seem to match the maker mark. I’m thinking the maker may be William Suckling Ltd. This maker did manufacture some items for sale by Tiffany.

    In fairness, I didn't notice that until a couple of hours later. It's subtle, I can see how the people sorting and pricing the donations thought they were brass and priced them accordingly. I thought they were brass, too when I picked them up. They are really heavy for their size, like brass would be

    They had a grime on them, plus the dripped wax, I got home and cleaned them up (just a soapy rag in the sink, no polish) and they actually look more like gold than brass now... they look sweet!

    @asheland .... Those were super finds!! I have been checking thrift shops (well, not the last three weeks) for items such as those...or any silver items. Been coming up with nothing.... I will get back at it ... Got to be a treasure or two out there. Cheers, RickO
