My coin collection has hit a value of over $500!

(There are doubles of some of the coins for different lightings and views)
I have been collecting coins since late 2018 and I have hit the biggest milestone yet, in my coin collection! My collection has hit a cumulative value of $500! I've been working to get my collection bigger and bigger and @spirityoda has pushed my collection to a massive value of $500! I thank him and to celebrate, I am posting the coins he sent me! Thank you Yoda and may the force be with you!

I have a bunch of proof Jeff's from the late 1950's and early 1960's leftover from breaking up proof sets.
Will be glad to send them to you just to get rid of them.
Nice collection BTW!

Wow - that may be the longest single post I have ever seen. Ha ha!
Congratulations! Great looking group of Jeffersons!
Very nice collection. I especially like how the 2x2's all look similar--that really helps the coins and collection look cool!

Nice!
My YouTube Channel
Cool. Will you put them in your album or leave them in the 2X2's ?
Coin Junky...
Oh ok. For some unknown reason I thought you had 1.

You just took me back to my elementary and middle school summer days where I'd lie down on my bedroom floor, go through my binder of coins with a Red Book, and plug in each Red Book value to one of those calculators with the little paper receipt printing as you go. In the end I'd get a giant receipt and a value that made me feel like I was killing it. Excel has made this much, much easier.
I’ll give ya 20 bucks
Very nice war nickeles!!
Congrats! Nice silver war nickels.

Congrats on building value in your collection. You may find, however, that selling them for anywhere near that value may be something completely different. That is why it is important to assess your collection from time to time, selling and testing the market if value is something important to your goals.
We appreciate your excitement here in the forums, but please consider trimming that sigline down to a phrase or one picture. It is an annoyance to many to have to scroll through the same three pictures of cars on every one of your posts.

GREAT to see your enthusiasm for coins! Don't let the odd negative reaction or snarky comment slow you down. Stick with it and keep learning. I've enjoyed numismatics since I was 8 years old (45 years now) and it's been a wonderful part of my life. Thanks for sharing your passion here and BEST OF LUCK as your collection grows
what did you base the value on??
Nice ones!
Your posts make it sound as if you’re focused much more on value than anything else. I hope that’s not the case but if it is, that it changes.

We all know when we started collecting that we liked to tally up values from the Red Book to see where we stood.
This is to so-called "hobby of kings", after all.
Those look pretty nice! War nickels are a good value IMO, you can find some really attractive ones for very fair prices.
Check the mint marks for RPMs, there are a lot of them in the war nickel series.

Great start and a nice collection. You might, want to look into giving the 42 S an acetone bath.
Congratulations on your milestone, DarkRage!

Enjoyed looking at your coins. So long as you are having fun and enjoying the hobby (and it seems like you are) then you should follow whatever focus or goals bring you satisfaction. Good luck!
Good start, keep up with the enthusiasm, it helps especially with nickels. Cheers.
You like war nickels!
Whats not to like?
Interesting... some of your pictures do not have enough lighting.
You can work on that?
Nice group. I have a nice set or War nickles PCGS and a few NGC. Always liked the series
I get the impression you are focusing on Jefferson nickels...
You certainly have a nice start. It sounds like you are having fun with the hobby as well. Nice set of coins... Cheers, RickO
Thanks for the "trip down memory lane"... I remember getting War Nickels in change as a kid, but they weren't as nice as yours... Best, Leo

Send them all to get beaned, and you'll double your value
Seriously - congrats good job, and great post.
Hurry though wile gold is a little down because before you know it it will be back up in price. Even numismatic gold. Supply is not increasing but demand is.
Best of luck
No worry’s 👌
Don't forget that knowledge has value, too. Nobody can take that away from you. Keep reading, studying and asking questions.
Oh, and don't forget. Whenever you think you know it a lot, something will come along and make you realize you don't know as much as you think you do. Been there, done that
I wish at 16 that somebody had directed me to take the ANA grading course.
Either at shows or the Summer seminar.
Would be the best coin investment you could make at your age.
My 5 cents...

Remember... The value of the coins is what you get out of them. I can loose myself in the beauty of a coin. Sure there is rarity. Sharing your coins with others is fun too. Having fun with coin collecting is what it's all about. Learning all about coins is key. Never stop learning about coins. Buy some coin books. Red book values are usually way off real market values.

Congrats, @DarkRage666 on your progress. Careful with getting into gold--it is highly addictive! I found that when I got my first gold coin, which was a Saint, I craved more. I thought to myself: "I will build a basic 5 piece set and be happy." So, I did that, but the 'gold bug' just would not go away. I then found I needed to pursue an entire series of a particular type, which ended up being the $2.50 Indian quarters. Nearing completion, I then felt the need to look into older American gold and am now seeking a Classic Head $2.50 and $5.00.
I don't know if others have encountered this, but it seems particularly so with gold. Have you ever seen the movie, 'Gold' with Matthew McConaughey? That is an insanely good movie about man's relationship with gold, especially when the main protagonist remarks how he did not do all of those years of crazy, wild-west style prospecting for money, per se, but for gold itself--as if they are something completely different.
Anyway, watch out. It is a rabbit hole, indeed.
