I like how the Yount and Brett cello packs were pulled from the auction a few days before it ended, seemed odd. I ended up with the 74 bb rack pack with stretch on top and the 82 rack pack with Ripken on top. I wish they would stagger the ending time of the auctions so I would know if I have in my budget to have purchased more items like the sweet 70 bb wax pack gai perfect 10 .

I ended up with the '74 factory set. I hope it isn't beat to he11 or otherwise tampered with. Always a crapshoot.

Seems the 1977 baseball boxes sold for less than I figured and the 1975 rack with Rose on top sold for more than i figured.

$62,000+ for a 1954 Hank Aaron RC PSA-8! I think that is a record price for the grade...

I won the partial box of 14 1975 mini cellos for a very reasonable price considering some of the other prices.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.2 -

Gem mint , I’m shocked that you would pay that much for the 74 factory set. They were never sealed and you are putting a lot of trust in anyone that has owned that set. You have always been one of the best people on these boards so I hope it works out for you. Please let us know but that’s a lot of coin to pay.

The pattern looks okay and with the prices of everything these days, the price is not that surprising. A Fritsch vending box would sell for more and this guarantees one of each card. Fritch vending boxes also aren't FASC for the most part.

I was the winning bidder on the 75 Rack Box with all the Stars/Rookies. And yes I had a couple beers last night LOL.
I am planning to open that sucker someday, possible at BBCE so I can see the racks inside, re-seal and sit on it.

I liked seeing a 1975 Football box go for over 12,000
Picked one up that I need to get sealed asap.A little shocked the 2 1954 Bowman FB 5 cent packs were only 1300.00 Undervalued pack.
I won the 1961 Fleer Football pack for a little over 600.00 Also a hidden value pack. lots of stars in the 1st series. I have a full box and 1 extra pack. Don M. Rookie only has 24 9s and no 10s !

On December 13, a PSA 9 1952 Topps Pee Wee Reese (Pop 5 with one higher)) went for $30,000. In the Mile High auction just concluded, the exact same card was flipped for $62,882!

personally like the gai one and wouldn't have had a problem with it if I was in the market. there are lots of issues with gai but I would hqve jsut as much confidence in that box as I would a generic bbce box

All packs, regardless of the holder, should be evaluated based on their own merits and attributes. I have not had any issues crossing GAI packs to PSA but I am also picky about what I buy and submit.

Forget GAI and PSA. There are a few people in this hobby like Tim, Mike(cpa), and Dave(70Topps) that if they say it is good I buy from them sight unseen. We are lucky that we have a hobby where experts share their knowledge and wisdom freely for all to enjoy.

I sure that wax boxes were low across the board. I picked up the 78 baseball and 76 football. Wish I would have bid on the 77 baseball as well. The 80’s boxes were low also

springermountainsportscards is completely reputable, and the sale went through (it was for $95K, eBay didn't report the negotiated price correctly). I got off the phone with the co-owner a few minutes ago to make sure this was all true before I posted.
