Sometime you have to settle for problem coins when working on such a specific set.

Need a Barber Half with ANACS photo certificate. If you have one for sale please PM me. Current Ebay auctions

That is a very respectable problem coin.

Congrats on making progress on your cool set.

Retoned since the photo cert? Cool looking coin.
Toning is tough to decipher on the black and white photographs. I wouldn't be surprised though, especially if it went into that slab after a fresh cleaning.
That’s what I was thinking.... I recall discussions about coins toning vibrant colors in those old slabs over many years.
For a problem coin, I think very respectable for the strike. Nice coin and congrats on your collection. As I have stated before, would love to be able to see them all. I may have already, pieces at a time.

I started a thread about a month ago. I am up to dimes. The link is here.

Looks like a good coin for the type of set you are building. A set with such specific requirements narrows down your choices considerably. Cheers, RickO
Sometimes problem coins aren't that problematic. You will find that most circulated Liberty seated and bust coins have been cleaned at sometime or another. A lot of times NGC and ANACS will straight grade these. Here is my an 1838 no drapery Seated Liberty quarter.

This coin grades VF20, has been cleaned, but the cleaning is not noted on the holder. ANACS. This coin does have good eye appeal on the obverse. In fact, I don't know who would want it. Your coin is much more desirable.
