Not mine...
Look at all the + grades on the first order in the submission!

Interesting, I didn't realized you could get NFC without Gold Shield.
I know it's probably done daily, but my heart couldn't take relying on the USPS or UPS to deliver 20 double eagles back to my home.
What do you that send high value coins to be certified/slabbed do for insurance during shipping. I mean proof of value if its never been graded. I understand a $100 coin but a $6k or higher coin that is only that value because of grade. How would you prove its grade to an insurance company such as USPS, UPS or other. I'm serious, I've never been in the position of a lost/stolen coin during shipment, but thought I had in my last submission of 3 weeks shipping. Thanks
Jim

I suspect these will be on TV soon.

I would bet on it.
I'm leaning to the tv guess
professionally image and itemize the coins. take a video of packing up the order with the tracking/label information visible. consult an insurance company/dealer that has experience shipping such high-dollar orders.
Pictures of each coin before shipping,
don't really need pics of coins that are worth near melt. just need a list of dates, mm and coin types with numbers of each.
Fairmont hoard??
This supports my move away from 1890 and up Double Eagles. Too many coins added to the pop numbers daily. So many more out there still to be added. Submissions like this make pops jump.

Are these bulk submissions? I ask because the grades are all low to high.
If I could afford these coins, which I can't, I would either drive across country and deliver them myself or would hire someone I trust to do it. I know Fedex and UPS move incredibly valuable shipments of diamonds, precious metals, and other items on a daily basis but my heart couldn't take it.
While we do not know the details, I would bet these coins were not 'shipped' by USPS.... Likely a bulk submission delivered by hand/special courier. Cheers, RickO
You probably can't, at least not easily. You can, however, prove your purchase price which is likely what they will reimburse you.

I'm pretty sure that none of that is going to convince an insurance company that they should pay you $6k for a "lock 66" that you just bought for $2k.

I don't know. Given that there are 55,000 1900 DEs in 62 through 64, I'm pretty sure this submission hardly moves the needle. The pops are already so high as to make the designation meaningless.

Common dates, basically bullion coins coming out of Europe when gold hit recent highs......Still there are many more Saints than $20 Libs.. PCGS has a good bulk price on submitting those, very competitive with NGC. Probably heading to cac next.
I'd be a nervous wreck with shipping.
"Professional Coin Grading Service (www.PCGS.com) has announced that it will begin embedding Near Field Communication (NFC) technology in all its encapsulated coins, medals, tokens, and banknotes in October 2020. This revolutionary advancement launches after an initial limited rollout earlier this year with coins graded in PCGS Gold Shield holders to test compatibility and user response, both of which were overwhelmingly positive."

CAC essentially bullion coins? nah.
To the Europeans where many $20 Liberties have been residing they were sold because gold spot was up; but yes, once they get graded by PCGS and cac you have a lot of $2200 plus coins. I'm not sure who will be marketing them as the auction costs take a big bite out of profits.
I was looking more at the 1893, 95, 95S, 98, 98S coins and how many more of those have yet to hit PCGS? What if these had added 20 or30 more to 63/64 pops? 1900 DE's are bullion coins.
