What makes it interesting to you? It can certainly be interesting to someone. Are you seeing something I am not?

To me, though, it looks like it’s stained and maybe has a bit of PVC or verdigris or whatever that green is. I’d spend it.

Perhaps you should use zoom, a little manners would help too.

    It has suffered environmental damage.

Hmmm, is that all you see? Perhaps it's seen better days, I don't think we need to be an expert to say it's been circulated, right?

I'm not an expert, or even good at spotting anything that would click a dull ho hum from an expert. But if anyone cares, I thought the (E) in liberty looked a little strange along with the (R) in Quarter, along with a few things more but I guess theres nothing there as usual lol. Well thank you for looking, and comments.

It's a higher res image of a low res image...soooo there is no zooming in.
Looks like someone lit some kitchen matches using the reverse sometime around 1983.
I was in 7th grade when that was happening.
Sorry that's all I'm seeing too is a circulated quarter.

When I first seen your thread, I thought your 1983 quarter was going to be something along these lines? Good strike. Just as my 1982 is. The '82's and 83's are not loosed in the public. A high grade 82/83 is uncommon.

A well circulated quarter that has spent time in a hostile environment. Staining of some type is rampant. No numismatic anomalies. Cheers, RickO

I thought this one was interesting because the overall look is pretty nice. Apparently PCGS did not agree and gave it a 65.
With the TV it's easier to see the hits, scuffs, and that the strike is weak.
I bought lunch for somebody that day :D
