I aced all of them, but I thought the $600 question was the toughest one. No one on the show got it:

Of course this was a fun category for me.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
I'm embarrassed to say I didn't do as well as I should have in that category............ must have been thrown off my game by Katie Couric, who seems like more of a "cheerleader" for the contestants than a good host. I'm waiting for Aaron Rodgers' turn.... hopefully, he'll be better than the 3 hosts they've offered-up so far (and maybe he'll have a post-football career there!).
Yes that was an enjoyable topic group. My wife commented " you better get these!". No pressure. I did. Peace Roy

I join you in doing poorly, often due to having limited ability for quick recall. I think Couric is better than the robotic last guy and she has a refreshing warmth in contrast.
"Got a flaming heart, can't get my fill"
"Dime"?
"Ahhhh. . . judges say no."
"Disme."

I do not watch much TV, and when I do it is either news or the occasional documentary. It is a good thing I do not watch Jeopardy, I would only embarrass myself
Cheers, RickO
Yah, I didn't do so good - couldn't recall the 1st state quarter either.....
"Jeopardy" U.S. Coin questions last evening (March 10, 2021):
Old west artist James Earle Fraser designed this 1913 coin with a native American design
Released in the order in which states ratified the constitution, the state quarters series began with this one in 1999
First minted in 1809, the "liberty cap" this was .74 inches in diameter, just a bit bigger than today
The first historical woman on a U.S. coin was this 15th century Spanish queen
In 1971 Nixon presented the first proof of the dollar coin featuring this president to his widow Mamie
Most of the contestants gave incorrect answers.
The Mysterious Egyptian Magic Coin

Coins on Television
I got 1, 2, & 5. Would probably have gotten #4 right if had enough (an hour or so!) time. I don't collect "liberty cap", so anything would have been a guess..............
As far as guest hosts go on Jeopardy, I think Ken Jennings, while intelligent enough, comes across as too "wimpy" compared to Trebek. And after the first few days, I felt his constant "odes to Trebek" started sounding more like a tired tag-line than any heart-felt homage.
Similar issue with the next guest host. He was somewhat more "authoritative-sounding" than Jennings, but still a "cheerleader" and sounded like Bo Barker from "The Price Is Right" and his "don't forget to neuter & spay your pets" with his own tagline to "be like Alex and be a nicer person....".
Both he & Jennings made Jeopardy out to be a "Cult of Personality", all eternally dedicated to Alex Trebek..... It's enough that every episode ends with the graphic reminding us that Jeopardy never appears to have existed before Trebek..... (Then again, I'm still wondering when it will be time enough for them to retire the graphic after Jeopardy & Wheel of Fortune reminding us that they were created by Merv Griffin, some 50 years after his passing?).
Which brings me to Katie Couric. She just comes off as a "cheerleader" as well, who fawns over her guests & their ability to answer even the most mundane questions. Someone answers correctly the names of all dozen minor Greek Gods, and it's a quick congrats. But if someone remembers that Clay Aikens from American Idol later ran for some political office, or that thing we call "air" is what humans breathe, then she goes out of her way to be amazed & congratulate the contestant on coming up with such a fantastic answer!! (or so it seems). Reminds me of how Vanna White handled answers during her brief stint as emergency host of "Wheel".........
What can I say? As much as I wasn't exactly a fan of Alex Trebek and his being smugly "superior" to contestants, dismissive of female guests in general, and always with that "good for you" response while he obviously could care less about the person/response, nobody yet since has measured-up. I'm either hard to please (undoubtedly), or today's co-hosts are a weaker breed..................
But I ramble.................. back to COINS!!

I missed the dime one. Got all the rest.
I think having a whole category about coins is nice publicity for our hobby. As far as hosts, I’ve watched the prior ones, and looking forward to watching Aaron Rodgers. But for reasons I cannot mention, I will not watch Katie Couric during this two week period. I’ll have to deprogram my DVR!

Who would get the dime question unless they were a numismatist?
What is .....nobody.
Even some numismatists didn't get it.
Forgot to phrase your answer in the form of a question. No pudding for you.
