Can't believe the train stopped. Usually they are 1/4 mile past the impact.

Most of Europe has been using ships instead of planes for all shipping services during Covid-19.

That is interesting and I wanted to learn more. I was unable to find any articles in a brief search, do you have any that you could link to?

Was that TWO FedEx trucks with one blow? I see one was a double trailer.

I think the first truck on the right made it through

That was almost a two fer!

The lights going on and the gates coming down AFTER the crash was quite the added insult to injury.

May have been because of the snow/ice affecting the switches???

Also looked like there was a "railroad" maintenance truck parked on the right side of the road after the tracks, perhaps working on the switches which I see often here in New England

The vehicle with the dash cam stopped even though the gate stayed up. I can’t tell when the lights started flashing.

The vehicle that stopped was a police cruiser, the video is from the dash cam :)

WOW!!! Nasty... no barrier/lights.... Glad there is video.... I am always super cautious at RR crossings... we have a few in this area... and there have been deaths. Notably, some crossings in the rural areas, where a road goes to residences, have NO barriers .... Cheers, RickO
