Added to this sale, terms are the same as the top post.

A collection of rare varieties of proof Roosies by ICG

    Price change

The first offer gets this important set. Please be generous.

    *edit closed

As I remember, only ICG graded these RPM's. All were population 1 or 2 in all grades the last time I checked years ago.
All have hand-written stickers with the names B. Lynn or T. Wiss with dates from 2003.
I don't know if these are the discovery coins for these minor varieties, but I would not be surprised if they were.

You'll have to work that out with jabba and lazybones. I am only the shipper and josie just donated the coin. There are no bids on this coin, we set the price low knowing that it had the potential to be graded much, much higher, but you can pay whatever you like. Like I said, contact jabba at the email posted below the coin picture above or Lazybones through his site.

Remember that after you work out how to pay for it, email or PM me your address so i can ship it to you.

    Thanks,

    Bruce

    OK, Thanks, will do.

May I suggest you pick an item to list here instead of/or in addition to a direct cash donation? This is a fun way to raise cash and promote our hobby for all members. A true win/win scenario!🥳🥳😎

1882 CC GSA. The case is funky, but I’m confident it hasn’t been opened. My guess is MS63. Typical chatter on obverse, reverse nice. $200 donation and I’ll ship it.

Doggone it guys, I leave to catch a bite to eat and one of the coins I need (GSA Morgan CC) comes up on the site. I feel like you are all taking off in jet planes and I'm back here winding up the rubber band on mine!...... :D

Just got another donation, will be posting it shortly. 1886 Morgan. Nice grade. Common coin, but the only thing that keeps it from being graded MS 70, is that it isn't a MS 70 COIN....... :*

Hey Lazybones or Turtlecat, please explain the quarter labeled 2002 Protest. I see obverse is 1992 and reverse is 1993....I am confused🤔

  • WQuarterFreddieWQuarterFreddie Posts: 2,549 ✭✭✭✭✭

    @TurtleCat said:
@WQuarterFreddie Basically, the person who designed the reverse of the Missouri state quarter just didn’t like how the mint changed/rendered their design for the quarter. So the artist “protested” by having 250K stickers made of the reverse as they designed it and applied it to random quarters they had and re-circulated to show people what was originally intended. Way back then I bought one off of someone in Missouri who had a few to sell. Always thought it was an interesting way of protesting.

Awesome! Thank for the explanation and your support of Lazybone' efforts to help a fellow member in need. I learned something new today!👍😎

Come on team! We can do better! If everyone donates one item from their collection or sends a PayPal donation direct we can really make a difference in the lives of a member in need.

Even if you don't want the items listed for your personal collection buy them to resell on Ebay or to someone else. For example, the W quarter I have listed has sold on Ebay for $199.99 😎
