UFC cards are hot as well. Here are 2 sealed/
unopened 2009 Topps Round 1 hobby boxes. Round 1 is the first lic release and was a limited hobby only release (rumor is 500-600 cases @ 12 boxes/case).
Not sure how this production run compares to other sports... but supposed to be quite limited. Topps did use crappy stock for the cards... autos have chipped edges but all cards are fighter rookies and has an image from their debut event.
Steve Hart had one at the National a few years back for something like 500,000 bucks.
If ya had the dough and was forward thinking?
For the more inquiring minds? I had to make a correction - happened to find an old SCD from 1992 - and that's where I got the scan of the 8 pack cello which was being sold by M.D Sports Cards.

I'm still kicking myself for not picking up 1952 packs at the 1996 National in Anaheim. Mark Murphy was selling them for $1500 a pack or two for $2500. Which is strange. Both my friend and I recall the price clearly. Yet that add had a higher price per pack. Maybe because it was still in the brick.

Was going through a cabinet in my office today and ran across these two.

Some insane cardboard on this thread. Love that 81 vending case. And 81T has been on the rise too.
Robb,
I’m not even sure of the magnitude of some of those boxes, but I do know that you have an incredible stash on your hands.
I don’t know that I could leave my stuff at PWCC tho. I go in to the Card room and look at least a few times a day. Brings me sheer joy!

This is from SCD back in the early 90s.

And Steve sold his!
Good thing that lady passed on, else she’d want a piece of Mark Murphy!
i see the stack of cash in that pic above.
i wonder if ben franklin enjoyed getting paid by $100 bills that bared his pic.
Love the 2005 Cup box!
It's not UN but it is FUN!
