The 1913 Liberty Nickel is so popular that even old holders sell for over $10,000!

Which of these holders do you like the best?

What do you think TDN should go for now?

Leather Wallet - $10,800

The one the bidders would like best as I'd be pulling a hamstring getting that one to auction, lickety-split.

I’ve only owned one of them - holders, that is - the first one pictured.😄. And I’m partial to it.

And had a much higher maximum bid. By way of comparison, I’d much rather have that historic holder than a copper frame Pan Pac set holder that sells for thousands of dollars. And the latter holders aren’t chopped liver, either.😉

Bruce, are you actually working on a “Combo: gold foil label in the rarities holder in a custom leather case”?

    Wallet

At the end of the grand exhibition of all five pieces at the ANA Convention in Baltimore I was allowed by the ANA Curator to play with all five pieces in the Security Room for about five minutes. They were in E&T Kointainers at the moment, and that was good enough for me.

I see, I was unaware that it was not just any wallet, but historical in the first place due to provenance.

I like the capital plastics one most. Only problem would be with it having some other persons name on it.

You should get some kind of special holder(s) for it :)
