    Just finished watching it.

Good video on running a B&M. I'm guessing a lot of these things go away with an eBay-only business.

BTW, Littleton must love this interview.

Good video, very true especially #1! By far the hardest part.

It's interesting as what he is "complaining" about were the same issues we faced when I worked in a shop nearly 3 decades ago.

So, basically running a coin shop is like running any other type of business. Who would of thought?

A big difference is that many business buy wholesale and sell retail.

B&M column dealers tend to buy retail as well and people expect to have strong offers from their coins.

I don't expect to be able to sell my year old television to Target ;)

This has to be sarcastic. If your smart enough to run a successful business, you are smart enough to do a hundred other things.

Yes, and I have never heard of coin dealer slavery. You don't have to do it if you don't want to.

    This is my second business.

Super long story about my first business that I don't feel like writing right now.

Click on the link at the bottom of my post titled "ctfphoto" and you can probably figure it out.

I absolutely love the coin business, but My other business was a lot less nerdy :D

And yes, I had no other choices. I saw the direction of the photography market 20 years ago. I had an awesome coin collection. I had no choice but to become a coin dealer and sell the coins I had.
