Any feedback on SD Bullion? Dates they pick for generics

I was thinking of buying some generic pre 33 gold from them. Makes me wonder if they pick, will the coins be dogs? Anyone here bought that way and your results would be appreciated?

If you're buying generic pre-1933 gold coins, without making specific selections, yourself, it's hard to imagine that you'll get anything better than ordinary. And that's regardless of where you obtain them.

I dont consider any pre33 a generic bullion. I have bought random year slabbed half eagle from JM Bullion (which is the same company, i have heard) and it is one of the most beautiful coins in my MS pre33 collection.
Just using term the site uses to help members understand my question better. Not generic to me either.
