change find

found this 2 weeks ago in my change it's a cleaned 1914 penny, one of the oldest change finds i have found yet, goes into my collection

    I wish I could have found 107 year old coins in change when I first started collecting in the early 1960's!

    i think it was just luck that this was in the change i got back from the store, i also have found 2 1941 nickels one a S and one P in change a month ago so old coins are out there just have to look for them

    That's a cool date to find. A 1919 I kind of understand, but 1914 is definitely a neat find.

    Almost Everybody uses credit cards nowadays so odd finds tend to happen more frequently. If you use cash. I received several silver quarters at a Taco Bell a while back. Kids these days :)

    true most wheat pennies found in change are a bit beat up and the details aren't so good due to use as change but every once in awhile you find one like this

    Nice find.... I keep all the old coins I get in change... Cents are the most frequent finds. I pay with cash most of the time and get change often. Cheers, RickO
