What specifically do you see that tells you it's counterfeit? I'm not a Buffalo collector, so I'm not seeing anything jump out for me other than luster/dipped possibly. The seller's ~87% rating isn't stellar either

Definitely fake. I've seen these listed on wish.com for about 90c each (in bulk). The spacing between LIBERTY and the rim is an easy tell, let alone the mushy strike.

Very mushy details and lettering, the funky obverse rim, the apparent texture of it. The date also doesn't look right.

It's been altered. Mint Mark is suspicious.
Might have even been embossed. Gotta check the edge on that one for tooling marks.

What is that mint mark supposed to be? Does not look like a D or S.... and cannot be a P.... Move on...Cheers, RickO
