2007P Jefferson nickel. DDR unknown. Why can’t I find a match???

This can not be the only 2007P DDR?? Ain’t no way!!

    I'm not seeing any doubling. Just maybe some die scratches or gouges.

    My dumb guess would be a die gouge or chip. ;)

    What you see is Pareidolia...

    ie... results in half my cherrypicks being a bust.

    Looks like a minor die gouge/die damage

    The small, slightly curved line doesn't look like any nearby devices

    Hmmmmm. So all these modern nickels with the DDR’s that are listed under Wexler or Variety Vista. The are not actually DDR’s they are just different die gouges in different spots in the door ways. All a waist of space..lol.. I’m lost here.

    I have no idea what other DDs you are taking about but by definition a DD shows doubling of details. Your possible die gouges are not doubles of any nearby features.

    Most of them the line in the doorway is straight and conforms with other details on the coin.
    The one you are showing has a curve to it, there are no curved elements of the design it that area.
