Brief Show Report and a Couple of NEWPs

I attended the monthly Melbourne FL show today; it was cancelled last month, and I hadn't attended for several months prior to that.
Everyone wore masks, and they were enforcing spacing at the line signing in, but after that the spacing rule was hit and miss.....
Several key dealers were absent/attending other shows, but otherwise there were at least 25 dealers in attendance, and others cruising the floor buying. The retail crowd seemed a little small, but people were spending money.
I had been called in advance by a dealer friend to 'bring him some stuff, anything, to look at, business is strong!'. So I sold him a small group off to the side of the bourse, as he did not have a table this month, but was spending plenty at other tables. I saw him purchase a fairly significant group of better date Morgans in various slabs, among other things.
Bullion was hot. 2021 eagles were selling by the roll at $700, or $35-$38 ea, and I saw quite a few trading hands. Circ common Morgans were also good sellers, and small silver bars. I did not quote any junk silver or bars, but overheard one dealer asking 23x on halves. Don't know if he was actually selling any at that price or not. I did see some currency being sold, along with a few numismatic pieces. The dealers I talked to have been having good sales at small shows in FL and the SE US, but lamenting 'nothing nice is coming in'. I was also kind of surprised to see pretty strong pricing on most items being offered, especially anything in a slab, even with Details grades.
I did run into a friend who retired from the automotive biz, and works part time for another dealer, but set up by himself at this show. And that's where I got these NEWPs - it was refreshing to find a couple of genuinely nice raw coins at reasonable prices!

I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
Thanks..... I needed it like another hole in the head, but I’m a sucker for full four digit ‘21P circ quarters, and the original skin put it over the top.
Nice '21 quarter. I like it!
Thanks for your report.
Very nice. Really like the Walking Liberty.
Dude congrats on a real show! I’m envious. Nice pickups.
That's why I like it too, original & not blast white.
It sure is nice to get a show report. I'm glad to read it
Thanks for the show report. Enjoy the two newps. Sounds like the silver market is strong.

Good to hear about any coin shows back in business. Nice coins... especially the SLQ!
nice additions... Your 1916-D would be a great addition to the 1919-D GTG from about a week ago... It really goes along way to illustrate the obverse relief and design differences 1923 and earlier.
I like the 1921 quarter... I have had much better luck finding 1921 Canadian quarters
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
Nice that you were able to get out to a show, congrats on the new additions.
