1921 Peace Dollar Prices

Anyone else notice that with the centennial of the Peace Dollar, the 1921 Peace Dollar prices seem to be higher than usual. I usually follow grades 58-64. Prices seem to be very strong right now.

Yep-any little old gimmick to jack the price up.
Tell me about it. I've been trying to find an attractive PO1 or FA2 (PCGS) for a couple of years now.

The hair detail has become the price point.
Started a couple years ago.

Yep...1921 Peace dollars have always commanded a premium, and the hair detail is key.... So, with the focus of 2021 new ASE's, a further premium is added. Will stay strong for another year....Cheers, RickO
Your right ... prices are high.
With the '21 being so unique there's plenty of us who own multiples and even have hoards of them. The price probably needed to come up, but never expected this big of jump.
Yeah, its insane.
Sold 3 AU details cleaned, each brought between 200-220. Still have the nicer ones to sell.

I was happy I found a problem free example for my ANACS photo certificate type set.
I agree with the comments above. The 21 is hot and selling above price guides. But it is not just the 21. The whole series of Peace dollars is hot. Easy to sell for full retail and very difficult to replace.
