What a wonderful start to my week..

5:30 a.m I left home to go to work. 20 min down the road I noticed smoke coming out of my hood, engine temp started to overheat..got it running again then not five min later my engine is smoking again and dies... Called my pops, he comes and hooks me up ,gave me a tow for 17 miles to a shop..
Didn't get into a heated truck/building until 9:30.. I hope everyone is having a much better Monday than me😊 wish me luck , hope my engine isn't fried. Gotta love a Ford...
Here's a coin😂

Aw. Hope you get back on your feet again?
Here's something that might cheer you up? Since you posted a Peace Dollar and since you brought your father into the conversation.
My father, decided to self engrave Silver Dollars with all his kids, 5 of them, names/birth dates into each individual coin. Well, awhile ago I decided (being the oldest) to send my "Dad's Dollars" in to be certified by our Host. Here is a Peace Dollar for my sister. ;)

"Jesus died for you and for me, Thank you,Jesus"!!!

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.

Yea, that happened to me a couple of years ago. I made it home by stopping every 15 seconds and with the help of about 20 gazillion gallons of water. The old boat was cooked. I was devastated. The Lovely Mrs. Hydrant was ecstatic! "Let's get a new car!!!" So we did.

It was steam coming from the coolant reservoir...
Hopefully it's just my water pump that was out but they seem to think my engine might be messed up.. I'm still awaiting there call

Overheating doesn't necessarily mean your motor is done. Could be something as simple as a bad thermostat, or something as costly as a blown head gasket. Hopefully it doesn't look like a frappacino under the oil cap.

MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

You are right, either way I hope it isn't something too serious..
    It'll work itself out😊

Sorry to hear of your troubled Monday. When I was working, retired now, I hated Mondays.
Best of luck getting your Ford back on the road.

I've had similar problems, brand loyal with Subarus; overheating and head gaskets are common issues with some of the older ones. Preventative maintenance as usual is vital; make sure you have enough quality fluids in the car or truck, some additives are good too. Never drive a vehicle with problems that will make it go from bad to worse, I've learned that the hard way (water or oil pump failure). Sorry for your misfortune and I'd recommend joining an online forum for your vehicle as I have done and gotten excellent advice from mechanics when needed.

ah, money pits vehicles. another class that should be mandatory in schools, basic auto maintenance, maintaining and repair especially in extreme climate zones. not commented to you but just reinforced by how often the skills are needed and i'm included!

here is a coin to hopefully warm up your day!

oh btw, make sure you get some antifreeze in there with that h20 or it may possibly be the last nail in that vehicles coffin. ;)

here are indians native americans to remind you us, that there was a time we didn't have these headaches conveniences.!!!!!

Actually there are two other forums for Subaru owners, and probably more than that. One forum I'm on is the Ultimate Subaru forum. Some good advice from seasoned professionals. There is usually a forum for any interest. Maybe I should join one for my Canaries.
