Welcome back, but I believe the quality of the threads and discussions is worse now than a dozen years ago. In particular, the trolls are monotonous and rarely come up with ingenious material.
Well Tom, maybe Iwog will come around? LOL
Your hobby is supposed to be your therapy, not the reason you need it.
Welcome back, good to know you didn't end up in Costa Rica. I have been periodically sharing your pics here (always with credit where due) that I archived many years ago because of their shear beauty. Saved this one for you just in case you can't decide on a coin avatar:

You're thinking of Adrian Crane (poorboy's side kick).

There would be no beauty in shearing that coin!😮😩

The nice welcome back by everyone is so much appreciated. Ill start posting coin pics again as soon as I get a camera and set up. Im kind of excited to image coins again. Well used and great memories. Any new advances in coin photography I should know about? Lol
Braddock, don't even.
Derry, you'll never catch me in Costa Rica. I'm working on getting a camera and rebuild my set up. I look forward to posting pics soon.
Glad to see you're back, Brandon. I spoke with Johnny Cash (sp) at a number of Long Beach shows asking about you. His wife seemed to know you and gave me updates.
Brandon sold me the gem Barber Half I wanted for my type set. It's a toned 05 O (no pics) in PC 5. I was looking for one for four years. This is a very difficult series to find an attractive coin in MS 65.

Careful commenting on the habits of new collectors. I was ousted from society for doing it
Your thread title reminds me of a Todd Rundgren song!
Welcome back.

Welcome back, Brandon!
Welcome back! I lot of coins are less expensive now, (such as my beloved Walking Liberty Halves), so a good time to get back in!

Welcome back. You avatar makes me think of member Paradisefound. What ever became of her?? Or have I just been missing her posts?
Welcome Back Poorguy!
Welcome Brandon. Glad you're back!
Fellow educator says welcome back. The forum used to be a little ... rowdier, is that the right word? ... but it's still worthwhile.
Did that 100 point grading scale get implemented yet?
The number of monster pics from photographers have dropped, being replaced by TruViews and perodic cool coins.
Hope family life is going well for you.
Great to know you are doing well Brandon. You have been missed.
Notice Brandon popped up like two months ago with a quick re-intro and since then has been MIA? There's comedy with that behavior somewhere.
I miss the loss of Bear and Russ from many moons ago.
Several others I see have gotten banned since my last visit a year ago.
The stars have been traded and the bench is thinning... rebuild mode IMHO
At least they didn't delete their comments. Fun to peruse their old wisdom on occasion.
