As title mentions, there is re-engraving on Liberty's chest. Photos for posterity.
Compared to a non-engraved version:

@MarkFeld
Nice catch. Looks like she tried to make a tie-dye shirt for herself. Still pretty well done re-engraving that I would not have noticed on my own.

It does look a bit wonky, but apparently it got by our hosts a while back.

PCGS must have deemed it market acceptable
That is considerable re-engraving.... surprised that it is slabbed. Cheers, RickO
I've seen a high-grade seated half that has also been expertly re-engraved and it went through unincumbered with the grading process.
It happens.
I would think this would be one of the coins PCGS would actively be looking to buy back.
That's a pretty big mistake.

@stealer Good eye
It appears the full skirt details were also re-engraved. Now, this is the type of coin that, like Potty dollars and opium dollars, would be fun to collect. It is skillfully done.
I hope it does re-appear sometime, perhaps in a PCGS details holder, as the coin is neat in its own right.

maybe you should make a strong offer
In your opinion, what would be considered a strong offer?
