Overall, I’d say wheaties with buffalos being a very close second.
I would say buffalos and wheats. They are the ones that got me started and are classic designs.

I forgot to add Indian cents to the poll....
Wheaties yes, yet where is the Mercury dime?
Wheaties are the most popular, but I prefer Buffaloes.
Or the Walking Liberty Half
It's not really small.
I concur.
Did you forget to add winged liberty dimes?
Wheaties, case closed.
My observations of the general public so to say, their always seeking out the Wheaties.
In my eyes, A Buff.
Reason why is they have a cool look and you just don't see them in circulation.
I voted wheaties, but Mercs are my favorite and I would think more popular than Barbers.
Based on participation in the set registry, the Lincoln’s would be the most popular of those mentioned. I believe the ASE’s are the most collected followed by Morgan’s.
Buffalo Nickel was my choice but I also like Mercury dimes.
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

You KNOW they have MY vote but I wouldn't consider them 'small'.

Barbers? Error?
Whoops, I missed the " small " part. Apologies.
Bogus!

Wheaties for the win
It is well known that the Lincoln Cent was the most collected coin during the 20th century. Especially during the depression years, with the advent of the coin albums.
Many could not afford to collect the higher denomination coins. And the dreams of finding the 1909 S VDB in change or a roll search was a big draw well into the century.
Not even close. Lincolns were the most popular “SMALL” coin of the 20fh century.
Yeah I know it's the wheatie but I got a thing for the buff. Peace Roy

Definitely the wheat cents.... and the Buff would be second.... I believe the Merc would be third, but not listed in the poll. Cheers, RickO
Hands down the Lincoln cent with Buffalo nickel second.
the wheat backs for sure. id like to see mercury's in the mix as well
Thank you for not collecting Barber Dimes. They are hard enough to find as is.
