Ebay purchase.

I bought this from ebay a few months ago and I was very surprised by the condition. What do you think of the grade?

I grade it choice BU.
I can not tell the amount of luster or if the obverse field has been altered
Try to take pics straight down. Check or add some lighting or move coin until the surface is fully lit. You can do better. Do I see a scratch below Y on obv and a rim ding above STATES on the rev? Kinda looks AU so far. Peace Roy

Looks like a pretty good ding in the middles of the cheek. Other than that, It appears nice.

Not a bad looking coin. I'd guess 64 based on those pictures.
Collector, occasional seller
Your photos make it challenging, somewhere between AU58 and MS63 is the closest I can get.
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
I'm suspecting AU58 or MS62 if slabbed. It really has to be seen in hand.
Photos are not great. Looks to be uncirculated.
These are a little better.

Are there any good apps for taking better up close pictures? My Galaxy S9 is not great up close.
None of those pictures are conducive to good grade estimation. In general, looks to be MS 62/63.... may be a tad better or two tads worse...
Cheers, RickO
You should be able to take decent pictures with a smart phone. I find my pictures come out better with natural light and I use a tripod to hold the phone still. Don’t take your pictures on an angle and you can also experiment with artificial sources of light.
