Here's one that I've been carrying since it was mint state.
I'm surprised at how beaten up they get from every day carry.
Probably 5 years or so on this one.

It's the sandpaper pants.
Try silk.
The more items in the pocket, the more wear.... Carry a coin alone in a watch pocket (do they even have them anymore?), and it will exhibit only slight friction polish, even after a couple of years. Cheers, RickO
