"Satin Finish" Coins

Sooo... how does this work exactly, the mint started issuing "satin" coins in 2005 & stopped in 2009?
All the coins in the set are satin?
For all of those years, in each denomination, there'd be (if you wanted a fully complete set) a P, P satin, D, D satin, S proof, S silver proof?
Satin finish come in mint sets, and the regular UNC's are found in rolls?

So the 2009 Lincolns for example would have 20 different varieties??

Correct, except the satin finish uncirculated sets continued through 2010. In 2009, the satin finish cents are also distinct from the regular circulation issues due to being struck in 95% copper.

I must go back and look at those sets.... I do not remember the 'satin' look... I know I have them, and they have been in a storage carton since 2008. :o:D Cheers, RickO
