Keeping this simple: Is now an OK time to send a submission to PCGS?

Or, do you recommend waiting?
Is PCGS even picking up submissions? Are there graders on site (or working from home) grading coins?
Is the postal service back on track?
Thanks!

I don’t think anyone is grading coins from home.

If you don’t mind waiting for 2 or three months, submit it

If you submit now, it will still get back to you sooner than if you wait a month to submit. I wouldn't be worried about the postal service, even though they are a little backed up.

If you have coins that you've decided are going in for grading, you're already waiting to get them back graded, even if you haven't sent them. If you wait longer to send them, you'll just be lengthening your wait to get them back.

I sent in stuff about a month and a half ago under the "EXPRESS" service. Still haven't gotten them back yet. So much for getting them up for sale before Christmas. :/

Express is like ten day service, right? If PCGS takes a lot longer than the service tier paid for is there any refund? Also, if graders are not grading out of their homes is PCGS considered an essential business? Are coins being graded right now at all?
If not, I think I will wait until late spring.

If you wait, you'll lose your place in line. I remember when PCGS first started in 1986. The wait was 6 months or longer.

I'm not sure that either PCGS or its customers want graders taking home hundreds of thousands of coins into possibly unsanitary environments.

Send them in.... Otherwise they sit with you - waiting - until that imaginary time that you decide is optimal.... then you wait again.... As long as you intend to send them, get the first 'wait' over with and submit. Then move on to other things while the process moves through the necessary steps. Cheers, RickO

I'd wait. Despite lengthening your wait if you send them in a few weeks/months, at least you'll have your coins with you and not in limbo.
I dont like it when my stuff is in limbo.

I do not like the time the coins are spent out of my hands. I can wait for the grading for the time out of my possession to be shorter.
