The most pathetic phishing expedition ever...

I've gotten a lot of PayPal and eBay phishing emails over the years, but this one is by far the dumbest one I've ever seen:

Yeah that's pretty obvious. Unfortunately people will fall for it.

I get 4-5 a week from paypal about being pre approved and other nonsense.
Straight into the trash. Most if not all have the San Jose address.
@cmerlo1 Send me your SSN, date of birth and your mothers maiden name and I'll put a stop to these nasty phishing e-mails for you.

I get squirrelly over receiving my monthly PayPal statement! The simple ones are the most effective, IMO. Peace Roy

I have gotten a few 'you are pre-approved' from PAYPAL and forwarded them to spoof@paypal.com - they answered saying they were from them. Their credit card spam looks like phishing attempts.
I recently got a amazon prime sphishing and forwarded it to stop-spoofing@amazon.com as I do not have amazon prime.
I did forward it to spoof@paypal.com like I always do. I'm sure they'll have a good laugh.
I got a few of them. I just delete them or send it to ebay
There seems to be a major increase in these phony phishing emails the last month or so... Much more than it has been....Cheers, RickO
Bad as a Social Security robocall.
these scammers know that many will fall for their scams, nothing unusual to find an increase near the holidays of scams of all types

Lame - ever gotten the call from the “IRS”? Got one the dude told me to comply or “you will end up in jail cell and handcuffs”.
Yeah....
Whenever I get a suspicious email I click on the name who sent it and the actual email address opens up. I got this one and the email address was some extremely long what appeared to be random characters clearly nothing to do with anything from PayPal or anyplace kosher.
I get "Your account is now suspended" PayPal emails at least twice a week.

With multiple bogus emails asking for replies, I refer them to contact each other for further information.
The pardon is for tyrants. They like to declare pardons on holidays, such as the birthday of the dictator, or Christ, or the Revolution. Dictators should be encouraged to keep it up. And we should be encouraged to remember that the promiscuous dispensation of clemency is not a sign of political liberality. It is instead one of those valuable, identifying marks of tyranny.
