What can you tell me about these medals
I purchased these 3 medals awhile back because I thought they were attractive but have no idea of why they are made or what there real value is (if any). I know the Gandhi is a French medal by Landry but have no clue what the other two are. Any help would be appreciated.

without any reference I would say two things: I like them and they look like they are 20th Century/Modern issues perhaps struck in yellow bronze. the top medal looks shellacked, the second one maybe.
Look like 20th century restrikes.

Thanks for the great references . How do you tell a restrike from and original?
I agree with those who think the bottom two are 20th century restrikes. The entire fabric of the medals "feels" like a modern piece.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
All three appear to be Paris Mint pieces -- check the edges for a modern privy mark and probably a date on the two Royal pieces (which is usually included on the restrikes). The Gandhi piece looks like one of the hundreds of art & commemorative medals from the past 40 years that poured out during that period. As mentioned above, the bronze planchet and type of strike are from the late 20th Century.
All three have a BRONZE samp on the edge. This is the one on the Ganhdi

Here's a little clearer picture

Based on the cornucopia Director General privy mark your medals were struck between 1880 and 1966 - after 1966 the date was also included with the privy mark. Based on the fabric of the medals they were probably struck circa 1950 - 1966 and more probably towards the end of that date run.
They certainly are beautiful medals and I agree they are of more modern origin. Cheers, RickO
Thanks Tokenpro, I appreciate the info.....
Nice medals, and I recognize the cornucopia.
