A few things....When I take a pic of something numismatic, I use my phone. I place my phone horizontally on a steady object, focus, then tap. This has been a work in progress but I'm happy with it at this point. By doing it this way I avoid any hand shake. Also, I like to look at my picture and what I photographed and consider whether or not my picture looks like the item in hand in terms of color. And I place my piece on any background, but it must be one solid color -preferably white, though sometimes black will be what I need. @joeykoins looking at this picture I cannot see the colors you are mentioning. I presume they are holiday?

I prefer a coin with a story over "blast white" that have may have a story of being dipped.
I see 2 votes for a, "YES". I do realize it is definitely a rough Kennedy but two others, along with myself, do see some beauty where most don't. Lol. Also, my pics don't do any justice for the coin. Looks much better in hand.

Perhaps the coin would display better and be more appealing on the console of your car.

Is it kind of a very deep emerald and maroon?
I have seen some decent looking '64 halves that have those colors.
