    Look like type of green quartz or quartzite.
    Fuchsitic Quartzite: A specimen of quartzite that contains significant amounts of green fuchsite, a chromium-rich muscovite mica.

    I agree with @rte592 .... Quartzite comes in many colors due to other materials in the mix. Cheers, RickO

    Looks like levitrite! I live in the gem state and people are always picking up stuff and asking, "what's this"? Leave it right where you found it! I'm easily amused!

    Looks like Quartz or Quartzite of some kind.
    I've seen it like yours only ruby red, beautiful.
