Just wondering what the premiums are for the 1921 Peace $ Vam 1H Satin Proof Dies. The coin is in a rattler and grades MS63 with a green bean.

Wow nice combo! I would hope for $900-$1100 in the right setting.
I agree.
A '21 MS63 CAC in a rattler will usually grab MS64 $ by its own. Hit and miss on the VAM premium at times tho due to the lack of Peace VAM'er out there.
Forget the vam variety, that's a superb '21 on its own.
Good strike.
That would look great with a mild dip to remove the residues on the obverse.... Cheers, RickO
These are one of my favorite coins
I think premiums have gone down, a lot. PCGS used to call them "MS of Satin pf dies", now it's just "Polishing lines" and there's no info on the CF page either. Disappointing, honestly, and I think that's probably one of the main reasons they sell for only slightly above their non-1H counterparts.
Here's an HA auction with the old name that sold for $1400:

A more recent but higher grade that only sold for $840

To be fair though, there are some 63 examples that broke $1k in the last couple years.

They can be found unattributed with some patience.
Collector, occasional seller
Not sure many Peace Vam bring any two way premiums. This coming from a guy who specializes in peace dollar doubled dies. Not many collectors and not many gotta include varieties that set builder look for. Even the red book 34d DDO is thinly traded
