I’m gonna go ahead and go with MS 64. I do like the golden tone reverse. Nice walker.

    I also go with 64.
The strike is better than most 41 S's. I like it

Based on the pictures, MS64.....The obverse has a bit of shadow to the image... So, could be even better in hand. Cheers, RickO

I see no reason why this wouldn't be a gem 65.

Thanks all for your comments. I love the strike, especially the reverse, which is quite similar to the 1941 D Walker in another post. MS64 is its grade, probably the obv pulled it down a grade as I thought the reverse to be supberb.

Agree, the '41-S either comes very frosty, or with more of a subdued gray luster, like in the OP. Strike is usually poor with limited hand detail and a blend of the gown lines. Per Bruce Fox, there are 10 varieties with the mint mark, pretty sure PGCS nor NGC acknowledge more than 1 RPM.

    Nice one, Jim.
The reverse on its own looks 66, unfortunately the obverse is very heavily weighted in determining
    the overall grade.
