**LIST UPDATED 9/27/25 - - (also posted in BST - U.S. category) :

Making one last push before the end of the series and 2025, hoping to get our collections caught up on quarters...... Next year, it'll just be the 250th Anniversary quarter to worry about, and I'll probably just stop actively seeking after that..................

We're looking for 3 each (P&D) of all 5 2025 issues. They don't need to be proof, perfect, or the highest-grade examples - - we're just looking for decent ones from circulation or searched bags/rolls to fill our holes.

If anyone can help us with this, we'd appreciate the help! Looking to either buy all from one place, or swap for any prior year P's & D's we have as extras that someone might need.

Thanks in advance!

-- Dave :)

  • Hi Dave, I might be interested in this if you still are. Possibly the 2016s, though what I'm more interested in are 2013...though I note you didn't list that year, am suspecting maybe they are hard to acquire? I am not a super sophisticated or knowledgeable collector; but I do like silver mining Kennedy rolls, and fr some reason keeping nicer specimens of 2000 and later. I do have a couple of 2020 rolls I got from the Mint I would consider breaking for trade.

Could be our lucky day. I love quarters , but realized gold , Morgan and the Ike $ and Half's are more suited for me and easier than trying to keep up with all. trading prefeed to, than money. I'm thinking in the thousands $ rang of coins and a some paper money. If in your rang will take father action on sending picks.

Have you considered looking for the various USM mint sets for the items that you need. Each mint for these years should have what you need. Also, Pm me with exactly what you currently need. I might be able to find your "D" coins in my area. I also have OBW rolls of some of the nickels and cents you listed. let me know.

It is interesting, I haven't seen any Idar's or Tallcheifs in bank rolls yet. However, I really don't mind that much.

There are some sellers on EBay that have a complete MIXED set of the women quarters. http:/https://ebay.com/itm/366375682347/ There were 20 designs.(5 per year).

If you are looking for particular date/mint/reverse combinations, I would check out u sacoinbook: https://www.usacoinbook.com/coins/quarters/american-women/
As you can see there are a LOT of combinations when you include the San Francisco Mint, Silver and Clad proofs etc.

This is an interesting problem because, I suspect, this quarter series was not that popular (compared to the semi-q). I suppose you could put a full set together PDS from rolls or bags, but who has the money and time for that?

I am one of the collectors who wants one of everything. In this case I don't see the need to have one from each mint. In 20 years people will probably be collecting varieties of each mint and year. And then there are the errors. Too many possibilities, not enough collector interest. The lowest relatively low mintage was the 2022-S Maya Angelou. The lowest mintage P&D mint issues were the 2025 Althea Gibson P&D mints at 35.2m and 31.6m

    Philadelphia Denver San Francisco Total
    Ida B. Wells 166,200,000 143,200,000 415,000 309,815,000
    Juliette Gordon Low 200,400,000 130,200,000 434,040 331,034,040
    Dr. Vera Rubin 55,800,000 63,000,000 382,720 119,182,720
    Stacey Park Milbern 94,800,000 59,400,000 360,360 154,560,360
    Althea Gibson 35,200,000 31,600,000TDB

In an ideal world, lower mintages would make Althea Gibson the winner. However the new Semi-Q vintages have sucked the interest in hoarding to the new designs.

So many different coins, so few collectors! I wonder if the US mint somehow in the wokeness era of Biden thought there would be interest in this? In my opinion this is the exact type of thing that was making it more difficult to collect a series. Dont get me wrong. I loved the 50 states and America The Beautiful reverse designs. The Women were overdue, but overdone. I bet you cant find a school kid who can tell you the names of more than 2 of the women on the back of the quarter from 2022 to 2025. Personally I give Wilma Mankiller the prize for best easy to remember surname.

    Footnotes:

American Women Quarters issued for circulation are struck at both the Philadelphia and Denver Mint facilities. In contrast, coins issued by the San Francisco Mint, struck in circulation quality, are sold to collectors in 3-roll sets containing one roll from each mint.
The 2022-S Maya Angelou is the lowest-minted American Women Quarter with a mintage of 303,520.
The highest-minted American Women Quarter is the 2023-P Edith Kanaka’ole Quarter with a mintage of 372,800,000.
As of 2023, the Philadelphia and Denver Mints have struck nearly 5 billion American Women Quarters for circulation.
