Turkish coin ID help

Closest I could get is the obv and rev design match a 1/2 cedid Mahmudiye 1808, KM#644 but the size 14mm and weight .5g don't match up. I know someone will here. Thanks. Peace Roy

Some kind of decorative imitation or replica.

That was my first impression but I wasn't really sure and didn't want to jump in with just a guess.

There were also gold coins 1/4 cedid Mahmudiye weighing 0.38 - 0.4 grams, with a diameter of 13-14 mm.
But their design is slightly different from the presented coin.

@IVB and @MasonG Thanks for that. I knew it wasn't gold but I needed reaffirmation. And I learned about Mahmud II. Peace Roy

This must be tiny. I was planning to bid on a 1 Cedid Mahmudiye, but I had no idea that it was so thin and light (1.60gr).

Yes it is. Thanks to @IVB the nice thing is I learned the origin and meaning of the tughra. I also began reading a Melissa Rossi book on the Middle East that is most enjoyable. Peace Roy

krause has a lot of these but different editions are required . I had some editions from the 70's that seemed to have more images of ottoman coins but not much for weight or bullion content
