Yep. If you had fun trying to order November 5'th, getting banned, blocked, and shut out....you're in for a treat
as the mint repeats this same act today Nov 9'th, just hours away...another gold coin and a silver medal.
These coins signify the end of the war but may be remembered as the Website Wars of 2020.

Haven't seen offers on this so I don't know if I'll be buying. They won't have the same popularity as the American eagles as one is a medal. What are peoples thoughts on these?

Well, there are the fresh designs for one thing. The gold will be smaller, maybe a bit more affordable and the silver medal might be a nice one to collect. But then again, are there that many medal collectors? These may linger on the site for awhile.

I think the only thing going for them is that the gold is a coin, not a medal and both have low mintages.

Haven't seen any real interests in the silver medal. Bet the gold will go fast though.

Don't think much of the silver medal, not very much craftsmanship, JMO. Certainly not worth the 5th fiasco. "Remember, Remember the 5th of November". From V for Vendetta.

It would be more interesting if the mintage on the gold was also 1945 so they would be a set.

The artist was holding an olive leaf branch as a model and sculpted his arm by mistake.

I bet it’ll be similar traffic but we will see. Since I got the v75 when I wasn’t planning on it, I’ll skip the medal.

I collect the proof ASE but this gold coin is sort of a one off (the one coming out Monday.). My wife wants me to go for it.

    Bwahahahaha.
I was cool and calm while I held to my pledge to boycott the mint since somewhere around 2007. Haven't been to the usmint website since then.
