Gold errors of any kind are scarce.... We have seen a few here, but cents are super prolific (likely due to quantity minted), as well as nickels and dimes. Gold errors seem to be mostly screened out at the mint. Cheers, RickO
Definitely scarce but that particular coin’s error doesn’t appeal to me. I like the design, though. Lots of nice luster remaining.
Looking at Heritage sales of other coins, it looks like there wasn't much of a premium for the error at all, although those were mostly struck in Barcelona, while this one was struck in Seville.

Cool coin but not a pronounced error unless closely examined. This where certification really excels.
