Recently just inherited this from my grandfather. I’m being told that if you have really good value. Trying to find a way to confirm.

The three are worth about $75-$100.
The first is a Colombian Exposition commemorative half dollar. Photo is blurred but if almost uncirculated condition worth $15-$20, more if uncirculated. The second is an 1843 Large Cent in good condition worth about $10. The last is an 1830 Bust Half Dollar in fine condition, worth about $50-75, presuming it's not a rare die pairing.
@gbrant1227 do yourself a big favor and buy a large print Whitman official red book. Every US coin with images, info and condition values. Try to focus for clear images to post. Check your lighting. Have fun. C u around. Peace Roy

In terms of dollar value, they're probably not worth that much. The $75-100 estimate above seems reasonable to me. With that said, you may find that they have sentimental value as part of your grandfather's collection (or if he wasn't a collector per se, something led him to hold onto these). If your question was aimed in the direction of selling the coins, yes you can sell them, but these aren't going to provide an enormous windfall, so I'd caution you to consider whether the monetary or sentimental value is worth more.
As an aside, whatever you do, leave the coins as-is and don't clean them. Cleaning them will dramatically lower their value and desirability.
Everyone else gave you great advice already. I will say that you will easily find a buyer for that 1830 half dollar. It’s the kind I like to get even.
One further bit: don’t clean any coin with anything. You won’t make it any better and you’ll likely hurt any value.
General advice: DO NOT CLEAN ANYTHING!
There may be a sentimental value that may exceed the monetary value. Consider that before selling them.

Yes, don't mess with any coins by trying to improve their looks. That just destroys the value to the collector. Never clean, polish, buff, scrub or otherwise mess with them.

I wouldn’t bother buying any books though. Not unless you’re interested in this longer term. Just look at online price guides and eBay sold items...
