Fred, I sold an ANACS 1996 D Concentric Lathe Lines Cent awhile ago and recently bought a raw one.
I am sending in a few coins as a PCGS Mint Error Submission and was wondering if you labeled this as a Mint Error and as Concentric Lathe Lines?
Here is my raw coin followed by the ANACS example that I sold.
Thank you in advance, Chris

It's already in a holder. Why do you need a second holder?
Reread my post as I stated that I sold the ANACS one a while ago and all I have is a different raw coin now.
and recently bought a raw one
My bad.

Looks like it's ready for this...
He who knows he has enough is rich.
You might need to tag him @FredWeinberg or send him a private message as that increases the likelihood of seeing the question.
I'm guessing you might be able to get "Minor Variety" on the label. The lathe lines are in the die, not a result of striking, therefore not an error in the Fred sense.

Maybe if it was "played backwards" we'd know if Paul McCartney really died back then.
Interesting distinction.... This is a mint produced product with a distinct manifestation on the die.... While it is visible, is it an error? Or simply a condition of the die itself. Actually, the same could be said of a 'doubled die'...and we consider that an error. It seems I answered my own question....
